Domaine Alex Moreau Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 2021

From 3 separate lieux-dits.

"A more complex if moderately similar nose offers more in the way of white orchard fruit aromas that are trimmed in subtle wood nuances. There is fine mid-palate density to the delicious and appealingly intense medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by bright acidity on the bitter lemon-inflected finale that displays excellent length for its level. This too could use better depth, but more should reasonably develop." Lovely".  2028+ Burghound

"The 2021 Chassagne villages bottling is simply stunning this year. The bouquet is precise and vibrant, jumping from the glass in a blaze of lemon, pear, a touch of fresh pineapple, a complex base of chalky soil tones, white lilies, lemon zest and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is precise, full-bodied and vibrant, with excellent depth at the core, a lovely girdle of acidity, superb mineral drive and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish. Great juice and premier cru quality without a doubt! (Drink between 2026-2050)" John Gilman

" Clean mid lemon, assembled on its fine lees but not yet fined. A clean, even and balanced chardonnay nose which develops a richer white fruit with a greengage edge further back on the palate. Some salinity helps provide the tension. Drink from 2024-2028." Jasper Morris

"The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Village exhibits aromas of pear, toasted nuts, white flowers and citrus oil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate with tangy acids and a seamless, elegant profile. (WK)" Wine Advocate

"The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Village, which had been blended but not fined, offers scents of Golden Delicious and beeswax on the nose. The palate has a crisp entry with tropical notes of passion fruit and pineapple, a punters' Chassagne with a dab of ginger on the finish. Enjoy over the next decade. (WK)" Vinous
