Serrat Pinot Noir 2025

This wine is sourced predominantly from the MV6 Pinot Noir clone, together with a proportion of newer plantings of 828, 943 and Pommard. We included around 30% whole bunch in the ferments in 2025, giving the wine a punchy and fragrant aromatic profile that evolves beautifully as it sits in the glass.

The wine was aged on lees for 11 months in 500 litre French oak puncheons from Tonnellerie de Mercurey, 30% new, using a mix of Tronçais and Pierre selections, oak sourced from very rocky ground that produces exceptionally fine grain.

The bouquet is highlighted by cherry and spice, layered with a spectrum of red fruits, strawberry and raspberry, alongside detailed floral notes and lifted fragrance.

The new clones are adding an extra level of extract and tannic concentration which is exciting, the palate is tightly wound but underneath a silky and voluminous mouthfeel. Serious extract and density.
